Today we'll talk about storyboards.  Look at the attached Batman storyboard (the other one is for later) and answer the following questions:

1)      1)  Look at panel 2.  It’s definitely not the right shape to fit on a normal TV screen.  Explain what is going on here.

2)     2)   Look at panel 6 and 8.  The arrows have a little “BG” stands for?  Describe what the finished shot will look like.

3)      3)  We normally read from left to right and from top to bottom.  Do all the drawing read this way?  If not, which ones?

4)     4)  Write a short paragraph describing what happens during the sequence.  Basically a summary.

5)     5)   How long do you think this sequence will be once it is animated?

6)     6)  How is a storyboard basically the same thing as a comic?  Why do you think it is or is not?
